Recreational Programs
The Official Dance Project’s recreational team and programs offer a positive and safe environment that allows children to learn to express themselves through the art of dance. It focuses on developing a foundation of technique, flexibility, expression and team building. Our recreational program is for dancers ages 3+. The program is open to dancers of all levels and abilities!
Our recreational program is designed for dancers who want to build strong foundations, gain confidence, and enjoy the joy of movement in a supportive and encouraging environment.
What is Involved?
- Classes: Weekly 30 minute to 1 hour classes that run from September to June
- Costumes: Each dancer will receive one costume per style to wear for Picture Day and Recital
- Picture Day: Dancers will receive professional photos in the studio that they can keep forever
- Winter Recital: Dancers will get to showcase all of their hard work by performing a routine in the studio in front of an audience
- End of Year Recital: Dancers will get to showcase all of their hard work by performing a routine on stage in front of an audience
