Competitive Program

Our Competitive Team provides dancers with the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in a supportive, inspiring, and challenging environment. Our program encourages hard work, commitment, teamwork, and learning how to balance everyday responsibilities with the dedication required for dance. If you are ready to grow as a strong, passionate, and committed dancer, we invite you to join our award-winning team!

Our competitive dancers are expected to demonstrate dedication, respect, and a strong work ethic both in and out of the studio. We value commitment to training, teamwork, positive attitudes, and a willingness to grow as both dancers and individuals. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where dancers challenge themselves, build confidence, and take pride in representing ODP while striving for excellence on and off the stage.

SZN 3 Auditions

Join Our Team!

All competitive dancers are required to participate in an annual audition. Whether you are new to ODP or a returning dancer, everyone must attend. Private auditions are available for those who cannot make the group date.

Requirements

  • All full-time teams are required to dance a minimum of 8 hours per week including technique & choreography.
  • Dancers on full time are required to have a minimum of 5 routines.
  • Dancers will attend 4 mandatory competitions and have the chance to compete in 2-3 optional competitions.
  • Dancers will attend Mock Competition, a Showcase, a Competitive Team Photoshoot in September, Picture Day in March, Year End Recital, Winter Recital (for assistants) and Team Building Events.

*Micro-Mini's are exempt and will train 2 hours per week, with one competitive group routine that will only attend 3 competitions.

  • Company Gold - Inter/Senior

  • All part-time teams are required to dance a minimum of 5 hours a week including technique & choreography.
  • Dancers on part time are required to have a minimum of 2 routines.
  • Dancers will attend 3 mandatory competitions and have the chance to compete in 1-2 optional competitions.
  • Dancers will attend Mock Competition, a Showcase, a Competitive Team Photoshoot in September, Picture Day in March, Year End Recital, Winter Recital (for assistants) and Team Building Events.
